The Chimes is a large, extended detached property located in a residential area in Penkhull. The Chimes provides care for 43 Residents; their needs may range from old age to dementia and/or physical disabilities.

 

A privately run business, we provide residential and dementia care for private and social services funded residents.The Home has a dedicated EMI Unit and is registered for 43 residents over two buildings.

 

The highest levels of personal care are offered by our highly trained staff, who are further supported by the local district nurses from our local Surgery.

 

The gardens are well flowered in the spring and summer months and are ideal areas to take walks or simply sit out in the fresh air.

 

The property has character and comfort with 4 lounges, 2 lifts and 28 0f the rooms are en-suite.

 

We promote a relaxed homely environment, and encourage independence in all our residents.

 

The Chimes Opened it's Doors as a Care Home in 1988, The Chimes Residential Home was designed to cater for residents suffering from the onset of dementia,parkinsons and alziehmers. the EMI Unit was purpose built in 2009 to cater for residents needing specialist Care with dementia/alziehmers. The home is spacious and gives residents the right to wander freely and safely. We offer a safe secure and pleasant environment where our trained staff are on call 24 hours a day, ready to assist with the adjustment to a different lifestyle, enabling residents to live and enjoy a quality of life within their capabilities.
